(Bombycilla cedrorum) Extremely high pitched birds with very narrow variation of either a sustained or a trilled note, dropping slightly in pitch, about .5-1 second in length. These birds sing in mobs to produce difference tones, psychoacoustic 'heterodyne frequencies' which are heard as the difference between two frequencies sounding together, which along with microtonal trills make the birds sound much bigger.
